Tate Earle

8-19-18 Music Update

I had a nice practice last night with the Iorio Brother Band. Special guesses on bass and saxophone. What a pleasure it is to hear some bass back there! I have moved my studio to the jam space and as a second though made a live recording of the rehearsal. It turned out crappy but I just there some mics up. Next time I will mic up the kit and isolate some aMPs and attempt to get a board mix for vocals. My goal for the Iorio Brother Band is to get a decent live sound so these dudes can put their name on something with they’re songs on it. Fun stuff.

The teaching is getting under weigh again as kids start their fall schedule.  I am still dreaming of getting a new Tate Earle album up on sound cloud with Jose. Lots of good projects beginning. No gigs on the horizon as of yet but that’s okay.

Sunday At Violin

I’m very amazed at my daughters ability’s on the violin. She has been taking lessons from Ms. Deena Shapiro, the fabulous string teacher from  Pine Crest for about four years. She is a great player and will soon be moving into theird Suzuki Book.

Cat Shell back in then mix!

A few weeks ago I met with Cat Shell
and her boyfriend for a drink on Hollywood Beach. It was great to catch up again and talk about our where our various paths have led us. It has been close to ten years since we have played out, but last night we began practice for a duo wedding gig that Cat has coming up. I am honored to play with her once again and excited for our upcoming performance.

Bass players are a rare breed.

I’ve been doing some recording recently. New material. I’ve got the recording bug again. It’s been great playing with master drummer Jose Martinez  on my originals. We have tried out two bass players and both were talented but non-camittal. This seems to be a common thread here in south FL. Bass bass bass let’s go! Anyone who wants steady gigs and work should take bass lessons, guitar players, dime a dozen.

New beginnings

We are talking about new beginnings. Focusing on ones passion. Letting the worry’s of the world melt away like wax under your feet then grounding yourself in what you love to do. Keep the flame of intrest alight, it burns deep in your soul.  This cluster of  daily worries clouds our focus, society’s patterns telling us what paths to take for happiness. We look to external pleasures instead of going inside to seek our truth. The quest inside is the  most difficult, unraveling who you are and what you want.
