What a great festival in Panama. Each year I have been heading down to this wonderful Jazz and Blues fest in Boquete. There are many exceptional musicians some of whom I had the pleasure of playing with. Thank you all for another great year of music I hope to see you again.
Pic: Jamming with the great John Weeks at Big Daddy’s. Thanks for lettting me sit in.
We had a blast playing at Invasive Species last weekend. Thank you Chris for having us out again. It was great to see Tom Yevoli and crew, and get him up on stage with us! Great job too all pulling off a cover of “Comfortably Numb” we never even rehearsed. Toms solo was on point, then Mike Mathews shredded an acoustic solo that was so good it would have made David Gilmore cry! Also I was both surprised and honored by Tanner Demmery, our drummer from back in the day, (an original Rickshaw member) who got up and rocked “Big Truck” like we never stoped practicing it over 12 years ago! Thanks Jose for sharing your kit; thanks also for your continued dedication it sounds great! Then Iorio was ripping the keys like there was no tomorrow! Suffice to say it is amazing how music can bring people together. Props out to my man Ed who came out to both shows I played last weekend (Funk and Flow and Invasive) your support is much appreciated.
I apologize for my mistake. An inconsistency in my understanding of the name. Love Wins Revival……not winds. Sorry Jeff. At any rate, it will be a really nice event and I hope you can all come out.
I’m glad to announce The Smokin’ Rickshaws will be jamming at Luna Star Cafe this Friday 11-9-18 8pm to 10:30. We are also glad to be bringing you music from the leader of Love Winds Revival, Jeff Jacob. I hope to see you all there!!!!
