Tate Earle Plays Gallery Opening For AIE – Chrysalis Lounge Party 6-8-17
A few years ago I took the Artist Entrepreneur Institute. A workshop for fantastic creative people who attend to learn the business side of making art. I was one of the few musicians in the class but enjoyed listening to the different speakers cover aspects of the business such as marketing, community involvement, branding and sales pitches. Some of these ideas are as foreign to artists as a Bb diminished chord is to a CPA. I loved the workshop and it provided me with a good deal of inspiration. When Phoenix SpiritDiva asked me to play at the VIP reception prior to the gallery opening for an AEI/Doing Business As Artists related cause, I agreed to put together a set of music. I am looking forward to playing and enjoying the exhibits.
